Hi all The standard radio aerial on my MU is close to hopeless when a few k's outside towns. I have used coat hangers in the past reasonably successfully with cars, so radios must not be too particular how they receive signals. Based on this, is it feasible or possible to add a junction to the UHF antenna lead, and split off a co-ax to the radio? Cheers Ian

You need a special tuned transformer and you risk transmitting full power uhf straight into your radio.(smoke might apear)
