I think we are all asking the same desperate question........schematics, I would love a copy of the 90 bighorn schematics, I am siting here working out a plan of attack into fixing a single dodgy wire on the drivers power window.

The one on the 3.1 manuals is close enough for the window switches. Your problem is most likly the contacts in the switch I would hate to have to buy a new one of those switches even the passenger switches cost 2 fortunes. You should be able to clean the contacts but expect a fiddly job that takes several times longer than you expect. A strip of fine sand or emery paper is the best way to clean these

Last time i went to get one it was gonna be $160 something dollars NZ for the drivers side. They sometimes break the plastic mouding on the end of the rocker itself, so i ripped the whole lot out and wired it up using $7.50 switches from dick smiths. THe wireing is quite easy to figure out once you get into your doors as long as you've got plenty of paticence!!

unfortunately I have ruled that out, there is a break in the wire coming back from the solenoid to the motor, solenoid is fine so are all the switches and so is the motor, I recently had the whole door apart as I was replacing the drivers door with a new one (The Terrace and mad women in hondas dont mix). More importantly I need a full schematic, there are little extras like an overdrive on the overdrive (brilliant for doing long distance), a mystery switch by the hood latch which is connected to power but does nothing, a light tucked in behind the towing hook which has never lit up (I did check the bulb too). A new radio to install after the tosspots who nicked the other one ripped all the wiring. I love my truck and would be loathe to sell it, I just want everything going correctly.
As for cleaning wiring and removing salts from metal.....pure acetone is a wonderful restoration tool.
