Any suggestions on how to go about replacing an automatic aerial on a MU (and where I can get a replacement in NZ) - it snapped off.

Remove plastic inner guard, undo chrome nut at the base of aerial then the two bolts under the guard there will be a couple of wires which have a plug to disconnect and its out. get them from the wreckers.

The inner or replacement sliding part can be purchased from Repco - costs about $45 I think - Repco had a book which listed the Isuzu in it.

Another option is to get an electronic aerial from Supa Cheap Autos and place it on the windscreen above the rear view mirror and run the cable down the edge of the windscreen rubber about $40
