anyone had any faults with the back window solenoid, my button works sometimes then other times does nothing i have checked the switch and it working fine, any idea's sticking relay or something, so annoying have to unlock it with my keys.

I think it only works with the hand brake on. I earthed mine at the back so i could use it at any time

where is this back window button, or is it only on the 3.1's ?

They are talking about the back door opener that pops the window so you can open the door. It is a small rectangular button on the right hand side of the steering column.

Yeah I just looked and I don't have it. I have 3 spaces for buttons on the right hand side of the column on the dash: - one has an led for the alarm - one has i think the glowwire on/off switch ? - one is blank (Left to right). It's a 1990 or 1991 2.8L manual, I guess I didn't get this factory option?
