Hi Guys I have just bought a band shifter to convert the FM band to NZ frequency. Where is an easy place to pick up a supply to the device so that it is only alive when the radio is on? I have no idea how the radio comes out. Thanks Ken

Try the red one that supplies the radio.
from memory, the yellow going into the radio is permanent power and the red is switched with the ignition. I might just have it backwards though, so check with the multimeter as geeves says. Or a test light if you don't have a multimeter.
Cheers! Graham.

Thanks fellas. Red is the one to use. Just tapped in on the load side of the fuse. Anyone doing this watch out for the supply to the arial. its a bit short and the connectors pulled out when it "eased" the radio out. Was a bit worried for a while when the arial didn't work. The Red Shed sell convertors which move the frequency 1.4 mhz. In our area (Christchurch) this means you can get the National program on FM. Ken
