Hi, all. I need to replace the drag link on my '91 Mu (the ball joints are shot). Does anybody have experience buying a replacement drag link? Will a 91 Rodeo really fit? The Holden dealer is suggesting that the Mu and Rodeo track widths are different, which may effect the link.
I'm in Brisbane, btw.
Thanks for any tips.

Measure the old and new to be sure but I believe they are the same. If its close then a wheel alignment will still be enough to sort out

Thanks, guys. Spoke to Pedders this arvo - they swear black and blue that they tried a Rodeo link and it didn't fit. Maybe there's a minor difference that can be adjusted out, as Geeves suggested. btw, pparently the factory unit can be rebuilt, but it ain't cheap. AU$195 an end.
I'll have a drink about it...

The after market center arms have a conection point for a steering stabiliser which the Mu doesnt have. Just leave this hole empty

I'd better do some measurements at the wreckers later this week.
Thanks for the RoadSafe part number, pig75.
I'm gonna need balljoints and idler arm too, most likely. Any recommendations on where to purchase these bits (Brisbane)?
Thanks.

Cool - thanks for the info. I've ordered the bits (ball joints, idler arm, drag link, tie rod ends). Probably gonna need upper arm bushes, too... Busy weekend ahead. Thanks everyone
