Hi,
People i really need you help. I have found this web site i think that you are my last chance to save my MU. I live in Serbia & Montenegro (ex-Yugoslavia) and i think that i am the only person who owns an MU in this part of Europe. I have a problem with my front right 4x4 locker (if that is how it is called), the mechanic opened anbd he said that something inside a part of the locker is broken. I cant find any parts for MU in Europe. We have OPEL Fronterra which is very similar to the MU. My question is where can i find this part or can i use from it from the OPEL Fronterra?
Thank you in advance.
Mladen

Its a locking hub and theres basicaly 2 types.Auto and manual although most mus are auto when new. Frontera might fit but a better answer would be to use manual hubs off a trooper. Check the number of splines to be sure. You can also get after market hubs from superwinch etc

I think by locker you mean locking hub? The things on the hub of each front wheel. look like this; www.off-road.com/toyota/tech/aisin/hub1.jpgThe first question for you are your hubs automatic of manual, as in the photo? If they are automatic, don't bother, these are no good straight from the factory. If manual what brand are they, AISIN are from the factory but many others can be fiited off the shelf from differant sources. The main thing for you to establish is how many splines are you axles/CV's. 17 spline is common Have a look here also fo rsome more detail; www.clubisuzu.wellington.net.nz/publications.htmReplacment parts are not a problem, your location doesn't help, but parts are aviliable. If you answer these question I'm sure more people will be along with more advice

There is no reason why you can't use opel parts, according to the manual i have which is for a opel the drive trains are the same. Good luck, i have a set of hubs here for sale but the freight would be more than the hubs are worth. IF all else fails, just put on a set of after-market ones.
