i have a 95 bighorn with play in the steering box that can no longer be removed with the threaded screw is there akit to replace the worn parts or does anyone know what parts are needed

Box from the wreckers or send the box to a specialist. They have been fixed by some members here but they are a pain to work on without the right tools even by isuzu standards. I thought you had a much earlier model bighorn

i think you might be wright to look for a 2nd hand one probably hard to tell if they have any wear without fitting them though . you are correct i do have an earlier model as well?

You should be able to turn it by hand to check for play and tight spots fairly effectivly. It would be worth replacing the seal where the steering column attaches while you have the box out. Only use the genuine seal it doesnt look like a special but it is. If there is any corrosion around here reject the box. Rust on the input shaft will kill the new seal. Try Motex in Easter Hutt Road or Wellington van and ute for a replacement box
