hi just thought i'd change my avatar from the angry boy look i've been using since i joined the forum to a dirty pic of my mu ;D coz i'm not as angry as i used to be now that my mu is morphing into its next stage of its life?, which is a MUTROLL. hence the avatar change. when the project is finished i'll be changing it one last time. besides a change is always a good thing..... thanks for reading. muvit  |

Cheers Bruce. hi bruce all i did was go to my photo album, choose one, then go to photobucket but just before you hit choose photo you need to change the max down load size to the AVATAR logo 100x75 then hit choose file. then go to your modify profile to select your own AVATAR cut & paste the url link then choose your own size it took me 3 goes to get it right dont just go to the max (100x100) play around with the hieght & width to get the proportions right as some peoples avatars are out of shape eg the stretched limo mu ;D. cheers muvit |

Ok so I've lost my avatar bloody computer won again hahahaha
so what I did was (to get another avatar) photo from photo bucket right clicked and coped back to modify profile clicked paste and up she comes in url..... but then I cannot get it to come up in the avatar space it all looks ok so must be doing some thing wrong ok keep playing. cheers

hi bruce before you pasted it across did you make sure it was under 100x100 pixels? btw can someone tell me if my avatar is there as i can see it but fly3r cannot  regards muvit |

I can't see your avitar! i can see everyone elses but yours!lol ok should be sweet now my bad   i realized i had deleted it from photobucket after doing a clean up. so i'm assuming it couldn't find the pic url to load with. so i dragged another across from my iphoto & !! hey presto !!. (note to self don't delete pic from photobucket). cheers muvit |

its there muvit and yes size 75 x 100 mmm ok also make sure you only pasted one url set of numbers etc & not two or three as i have done by accident. give this a go. cheers muvit |

After I have the URL up in the avatar column do I just click "modify profile"

Since everybody's changing their's i don't wanna be left out so i changed mine a too!!!
bruce: whe your in modifying your profile, make sure the avatar drop menu has (none) displayed, then paste in the URL , and click MODIFY PROFILE buton at the bottom of the page.

nice work fellas  it's good to put your car pic against your name anyway, me thinks at least this way when your reading a post you've got a mental picture in your head of that person. fly3rs is a good example coz we were at mt walker when he decided to clean his mu in bonnet deep water ;D. bruce i remember seeing that pic of lowndsey & yourself in a previous thread. just need to play around with the size, i'm jelous  |
