Hi there.
The Long story: Earlier this year I had the mechanic tighten a belt under the hood, hence the squealing noise it would make when turning the engine over. I should have done this earlier as I noticed turning right was becoming heavier than normal.
And now, turning right is just about as heavy as it can get without the help of Power steering. Turning left is fine, which tells me the PS unit must be fine.
Can somebody please tell me what maybe the problem. Wheel bearings? Wheel alignment?
I somehow feel that loose belt must have caused the problem but then again I'm no mechanic. I even had the P.S fluid changed recently and still the problem persists.
I live in Wellington, Brooklyn and desperately looking for some help or advise to fix this.
Cheers

If its ok one way and not the other I would sugest the bypass valve in to steering box. Dont know if this can be done in place. Otherwise low tyres but youve checked these or bad ball joint etc. Unfortuanatly my moneys on the expensive one
