Tailgate Replacement

Some poor Commodore driver just drove into the back of my MU this morning, Total'd his car as you would imagine and while my spare was leaving a filthy footprint on his bonnet it bent in the tailgate. As this is an insurance job I thought I'd get a replacement one so apart from shipping from NZ does anyone know any wreckers with one in the NSW/QLD/VIC area? J

I can only try to understand how hard it is to see your pride and joy damanged by a commadore.
Central motor wreckers in Ballarat victoria had a black one. ... They are not in NSW or QLD but they may be able to ship one to you.

Sorry to hear bad news
Knowing that you live in Sydney area, rinng 4x4 spares(not shure of bussines name) at Revesby,they had one blue mu with damaged passenger side,if that does not work,there is East coast 4x4 spares at Chipping Norton,they are inporting parts from Japan(doors, panels,engines,tranys ...) for mu,surf,pajero,I saw couple black tailgates ower there.
Both shops you can find in tradingpost.

Thanks people, I will call them up on Monday once I have scared the pants off the panel beaters when he realises he can't pronounce the make of my truck let alone get parts. ;D J

Just had the tailgate finished and thanks to Dragan for finding one, it was top condition and looks flawless now. I have a few spare internals from the old tailgate, locks, latches the outer top black strip, hinges etc.. which are going in the skip in a week, so if anyone needs any of these bits send me a PM, and there yours. J
