hi took the family upto nobbies beach in newcastle for a day trip to view the stranded coal ship seeing as though i've only seen it on tv. jeez i can tell you it was hard to drive pass the wattagon mountains & not have a quick 4wd stint  maybe next time.... anyway when we arrived in the heart of newcastle the traffic was horrendous did'nt take long to figure out where the traffic were headed. seems like people were making the pilgramage from everywhere. parking was a absolute nightmare the mu had actually cooled itself down at least 10degrees with all the idling we were doing . eventually got sick of the ques so i made my own mu parking in what can only be described as a ditch ;D definately turned a few heads...gotta luv 4wds. so we walked about 5 mins & there she was!! by gosh you dont see this sort of thing every day, it'll make for a nice pic in my games room wall heres a few pics i thought i'd share see what you think?. cheers muvit |

OH MY GOD !!! Awesome pics, thanks heaps for that and I think you're right about the games room pic. Having only seen it on the box as well, your pics bring it home alot better. Thats a damn lot of boat ey. I wanted to take the family down to see it this weekend but the missus wouldnt be in it. we are only just north of the gold coast ... LOL I have comsumed nearly all of my bandwidth watching the hi res live feed on Coastal Watch just seeing where it is up to. I bet Brucie would never have let her end up on the beach. |
