Is there anyway to find out what ratio my rear diff is without pullin it apart and doing the counting thing?

If its lsd then lift both back wheels whit car out of gear and handbrake off. Chock front wheels first very well. I read a humourous report of a trolley jack ride within the last week on anouther forum. The writer might be getting one of "those"awards tonight. Then rotate a wheel one whole turn counting the number of turns made by the drive shaft. This is your ratio.
If you have an open diff lift one wheel and turn counting as before but this gives your ratio x 2.
Possible answers are 4.3 and 4.56

If you lift one wheel and it is tight to turn its either an lsd or broken. If you then lift the second wheel and it becomes normal and both wheels turn the same way its lsd
