Hi This may end up being the stupidest question yet, but I'm hard to embarrass so I'll ask it anyway. To work in deep water, a snorkle would have to be sealed around the filter area, so, when driving in heavy rain, where does the water go that gets sucked down the snorkle from the air entry area? Cheers Ian

Commercial snorkle caps are designed so any rain hits the back of the cap and runs out the grooves If you use the same cap on a home made snorkle it still works but if you make your own cap the water can only go down and needs to be drained every now and then
