Was wondering if someone could tell me how to put my own pic as an aviator instead of the cartoon. Cheers Nathan

Hey there, Click on the 2nd last option at the top of the forum pages - "Profile" On the following page will be the line "Member's Bio - Modify Profile - Bookmarks" - click on Modify Profile. Then about half way down you can put in a URL pointing to your avatar location on the internet. This means you'll have to have a picture hosted on the web somewhere. You can use photo hosting sites if you don't have your own web space - PhotoBucket is one I use. Then click on the "Modify Profile" button at the bottom of the page. Avoid the "Delete Account" button unless you don't like us any more Cheers, Graham.

Did anyone say you aren't allowed to use dirty photos as an avatar? No, oh well (I think it worked).

It's always fun getting a good shot of the vehicle in action, I know mine wasn't easy to get as I was in it when the photo was taken, it was on my our camera but there was no way I was getting out, too busy with foot on brake ;D

Just on the subject of pics, how does everyone feel about having a Pictures Forum?

Bandwidth limit was exceeded last month so Francesco has increased the site's bandwidth, probably at his cost. I'd hate to see us blow the new limit.
However, if we created it on an external site, like photobucket, then we could do what we want without affecting the Forum site.
What do you think? Shall I create a photobucket site and all members can access it to upload their pics. Actually, if we hosted all our images there instead of here, then we may reduce the bandwidth required by the site, no?
Cheers, Graham.

That's what I was thinking, just didn't mention it. We could use a public setup on photobucket, but I think it's just as easy for us to keep using our own storage places. There are limits on how much storage a single photobucket account can hold, unless you go to pro - $25 US/year. We also wouldn't have any issues with accidentally deleting other people's photos etc. J
