gudday dude, Mate before you buy new switches take the old ones out and see if you can clean the contacts up, its a bit of stuffing around but it will save $$$ ,once they are apart you will see an arm under the switch which rocks back and forth, there is usualy a bit of carbon build up on these which stops them working, once scraped with a screwdriver or sandpaper to see bare metal they should work again. it may be a blown fuse if both are not working. hope this helps, cheers

Grunta cheers for that, unfortuantely those were the steps i tried, fuses were fine, and after a bit of mucking around i pulled the drivers side switches out to check the electrical contacts hoping like hell the fuse or this would be the problem, once i had the switches apart it turned out to be that arm you talked about being cracked to the point of when the switch was engaged or pushed to activate the window it wouldnt push the contacts together, there is power to the switch according to my meter.as for the passengers door switch.after pulling that 1 out I found that post actually broken, hopefully I will find a place to source a set. Cheers DDT.

I had same problem with drivers window switches on my Bighorn and managed to buy and disassemble passenger ones to get the rocker thingies out.
From memory I think I paid about $40 for a working passenger switch from Bits 4 Isuzu.

dont know about the later bighorn but the mu has a different switch to the early bighorn Might be able to hunt a cheaper wreckers for something that has the same rocker ie toyota etc. one word of warning just because it looks the same doesnt mean it is. I tryed a mazda switch in the bighorn and blew several fuses
