MU makes top 10 list!

G'day all. Just received my August edition of Australian 4WD Monthly which has Roothy's Top 10 Used Buys as a feature.
Says the MU (Pg 67) is the pick of the grey import bunch because of their big wheels and short wheelbase. Goes on to say they look cool on & off road and it's rare to see one bogged down on the track. ;D

He forgot to mention we all love our MU's!!!

Thanks for that info Roger, was not going to buy that mag this month, but now have to spend the money on that momento.
With the 15 year rule on imports in Aussie I would like to know when in Japan they first produced the MU.

Best I can find is the first MU was produced in 1987. It was the two door ute style with a 2.8 motor.

...The Isuzu Pickup (H. Rodeo) is from June 1988, the Mu are from May 1989, and Wizard from October 1990...
