Has anyone found a good solution to floppy mirrors on a 2.8 bighorn. Perhaps another screw through the back ( the existing screw is tightened to the max), or filling up the cavity with 'no more nails' etc?
Thanks, Mike

I found some unbreakable mirrors at Repco which work but not so pretty. The original mirrors can be replaced The mirrow has a 19mm ball and a nissan one fits and same size but you still have that plastic cup that breaks My record is 2 weeks from new to rubbish. I also tryed some from supercheap that lasted 4 months but these repco ligt truck ones have done that with flying colours. Will post the model no tonight and email a pic

The mirrors are Motogard light commercial close mount mirror assembly MG2579. They dont line up that well to the holes in the door so mount the front holes in the mirror in the back holes in the door and drill 2 new holes. The heads are replaceable and adjustable The mount is solid but a little rustic in design

thanks for that - will do some experimenting and if no success will go for the replacement.
