just wondering what oils do you all use in your MU's?

And what diesel conditioner, if any do you use in the fuel?

Currently useing Valvoline Diesel extra which seems good have used Delo400 for a while also good oil, Before that used Castrol GTD which is ok and Repco diesel which is not recomended. Repco oil would start to break down at around 4000km causing some oil use and cranckcase fumes. The valvolene and delo are still fine all the way to the 5000km change.This is a 4jb1 at 200000km and far to much of that at the rev limiter

Currently using Delo400 which is good for my 3.1 but only for about 4000k's tops. I get a better run out of Penrite HPR Diesel. This is in a 3.1 with 315,000+ k's and 90 k's return each day to work at 110-120 kmh and 11 k's return in traffic at 60ish. In fact, as much as I hate to admit it because I saw what it did to the inside of my 7.1, Castrol RX-Super worked well in the 3.1 as well. I just cant bring myself to run it any more.
I would be interested to hear what others use as my drum of Delo400 is all but empty and I am about 1000 k's off my next change. I am keen to try another oil. Is there anyone else who makes another semi synthetic diesel oil?

I use whatever non friction modified multigrade oil i can find for around 3 bucks a litre in the gearbox and transfer case. Open centre diffs running 80W.

Occasionally run a detergent based product called BP GO in the diesel, but more often that not forget and this isnt, or hasnt been a real priority in the last 300,000 k's. Am thinking about it now though as it is starting to get a bit sooty. In my case, I think its too little too late. I am guessing I need a bit more than fuel treatment nowadays to fix the ever increasing black smoke.

i use Pennzoil 15w-40 in my 3.1 Mu when i change it every 5000kms it looks like its needs changing! i flush it every second change with wynns engine flush but i do short drives most days and then give it heaps in the weekends dont know much about this oil but seems to work ok?

Delo 400 @ 5K oil & filterchanges. I use Wynns EDT fuel additive - 10ml/80L.
(96 4jg2 98K).

I generally use Penrite HPR or Valvoline (can't remember which one) and haven't had any problems with either one. 5k filter and oil change.
Also use Moreys Diesle smoke stop and injector cleaner at the moment as it seems to have helped stop my 2.8 injector pump leaking and can't hurt the 3.1 either so I just tip a bit (20ml or so) in every time I fill up.
