Hi I am doing a body lift on a 1994 MU about 4ins what do I have to look out for .ie steering box or such like ajustments.

first thing I'd be looking out for is if it voids your insurance or not.

4 inches is a lot At 2 inches the steering is ok but the gearstick needs to be bent the radiator shroud needs to be cut and the brake lines need repositioning.4 inches will req a spacer in the steering shaft and who knows what other suprises. All body lifts in NZ require certification although most under 2 inches manage to slip through the cracks. 4 inches wont be missed by your wof man nor will the large tyres that you will be wanting to fill the wheel arches

thanks for that I think I will go for a two inche my truck is auto so will I have to bent the gear stick I am getting it done by a guy out in Henderson he said about $300 what do you think
