hey all, having problems with the handbrake in the nissan terano we own, it failed WOF cos it was unbalanced and probly cos it dosnt grap at all the brake pads were worn completly out so i changed them i the weekend thinking with would help the handbrake too but still nothing. its not the same setup as my early mu as the cable dissapers into the bottom of the back wheel hub? is this like the later model mu with the 16' wheels that has a drum and a disc brake? if so how would i go about fixing this, any imput is appresiated thanks!

never touched a terrano so this is a guess It sounds like there is a drum inside the disc which is most likly access by pulling the disk off. once inside it should be like most drum brakes except there wont be a piston assembly just the handbrake actuator. It should be fairly simple to work out but no promises
