Interesting stuff but expensive. I would not want to use any friction modifyer in a gearbox of any type as the sychros in a manual box and the clutches and bands in an auto rely on friction to work. In an engine there might be a benifit but I personaly would rely on a good quality oil and regular changes

I use X1R in my truck every time I change the oil. I have found that there is less engine noise and it runs cooler if only just and my milage increased by 20-30km per fill. see www.x1r.com/withframes/frameset2.html.

OK...I bought a couple of Militecs bottles. Now I´m running Rimula Super 15W40 with a few amount of Militec, and have found a great perfomance with them. The engine sounds quiter and works cooler than before. well, I wish to use it with Penrite oil, but here in Chile doesn´t exists. cheers!!
