Thats just a body on the deck with wheels poked underneath (I hope) The chassis would be on the ground I dont know what happens to the things lower than the chassis ie gearbox guard. They are also 5 stud wheels This pic wasnt meant to be published early April was it? What people generally do is fit the 4wd body to a 2wd chassis hence the 5 stud wheels and the lack of front diff etc. they then notch the chassis so the rear diff can go up higher than physically possible standard. I still don't get it though Putting 20inch wheels on new 4wd's also astounds me... why buy a 4wd and then never take it off the tarseal....

There was a 96 Hilux Surf on the J-Spec website .. lowered similar to the "landbruiser" posted before.. was on the website for close to 3 years.. started out at about $15k AUS plus shipping and compliance from Japan , last time I saw the ad, it was down to $6k landed and complied .. still didn't sell..

re 20 inch wheels on 4wds BFG do make a mud to go on 21 inch tyres I think it is 33 inches overall. They can look nice and a lot of new 4wds are bought for towing rather than 4wding. When they tire of there new toy we get to buy nice good condition 5 year old 4wds just right for putting the 15 or 16s back on and getting dirty. They get to pay the first 50% depreciation for us so we get cheap toys
