I have recently bought a 1995 MU. If anyone can give me info re towing capacity I would appreciate it. The handbook I have doesn't have anything much in it at all. I am in Victoria, Australia and wonder if a service book is available. Thanks

Dont think a service manual will have anything regarding tow capacity as in Japan it is illegal to fit towbars.
They should be around 800kg unbraked and 1500kg braked (maybe slightly more though)

The info i have from the Transport Dep is 750 Kg's un-breaked, 1800Kg breaked.
The 1800 was obtained by weighing the MU, My MU was 1800 Kg's. To be safe talk to your RTA, as i am from QLD.
