After seeing my first MU 9 months ago I knew it was the 4x4 for me!. I have been an owner of a '92 black, 2.8TD, auto for 2 months. It's a great vehicle! Only problem is someone else didn't think so and has ripped off my wiper blades and passenger side mirror. can someone help with a starting point for hunting down these sorts of parts. I am also interested in getting an owners manual and a service manual. Any help would be really appreciated.

Congratulations on the MU!
Now as for parts the MU, Justin has a list of equivalent parts on the Sydney Isuzu page (under Regional groups on the main page) so have a look there. As for the wipers, do you mean the rubbers or the whole arm? If rubbers, then just try Repco if you are in OZ or NZ, if arms,…….Hmmm try wreckers, shouldn’t be too much hassles.
The MU hand book can be found on Isuzu homepage under the “U Fix It” menu, you can download it. Note that this is the handbook and NOT a workshop manual!
Cheers

The wipers will be the same as a Rodeo of the same year as they have the same windscreen and bonnet and all that other stuff....
I have no idea about the mirror as the rodeo ones are a different shape, I suppose they would fit but would look odd.... try some wreckers, there are some in QLD that have MU's hopefully some other will tell you where they are.
Cheers

Can't you get complete wiper arms from K-Mart and other auto stores?
As it's also used in Holden Rodeo etc, then I would hope it would be an easy find.
Where abouts are you? Any pics of your MU? I need to take some of mine & post them up, but there's some in the sydney outings page - a dark blue MU, plates MUV11N
Cheers & welcome. Graham.

Cheers, I did lose the whole wiper arm, but it doesn't sound like a problem if it's identical to the Rodeo. I might try some QLD wreckers for the mirror, I have seen a few MU's up there.
I'll definitely get some pics up soon!
I'm in Wollongong (the only one i've seen here) There seems to be a few around in Sydney... How often do the MU's all get together?

I was at Central Motor Wreckers in Ballarat Victoria recently and they were wrecking a couple MU's. There is a good chance that they will a mirror. Might even have some wipers too. Pete

Congrats on the MU. Sorry to hear about the ancilliary bits. I think you've established that you can get wipers from most anywhere. For mirriors, dependant on what sort they are, as there are a few different varieties around, try www.ozeparts.com.aulook for a Holden Rodeo 1991-93 TF Flat Bar for mirrors. I think they were 30 bucks each for the manual ones.

Cheers for the advice!
I got hold of Central Auto Wreckers in Ballarat and they came up with the goods! They seem to be THE source for MU parts as far as I can find. Is there something similar in Sydney?

Not that I've found in the last 3 years. I tend to email 4x4 Bits for Isuzu in Auckland for obscurities and they freight it over, with the difference in the dollar it ends up costing the same price as locating it here. Thinking about it, it would be good to add a list of MU parts suppliers contact numbers and state locations on the Sydney site. Can you send me an email with the details for the Ballarat wreckers and I'll add them to the pages. J
