Chinese 4JB1 engines

As you may know there are several chinese industries builiding automotive products like cars, suvs, trucks etc. We are discussing here about Landwinds since they are Isuzu based and all the world knows they are weak (remember the crash test).

Ok, so googling on several "made-in-china.com" kind of websites i found several companies that build 4JB1 engines, someones under different names, other with newer cosmetics, another company say they sell them with bosch common rail (holy cow, can you imagine that?) etc....so, i wonder the same as when i met Landwind some time ago: Are they reliable ?...what do you think ??...at least we´ll have alternative 4JB1 spare parts for several decades more.

Very interesting. $3500AUD for a 4jb1 long engine is not bad but only has 6 month warrentee
Love to know if they are chrome bore or iron.

Some info on the fujicura engine. It sounds like they make engines for isuzu so should be up to new quality?
