What does everyone use to lubricate the window channels to help the glass slide? I have been using graphite powder for years which works well, but is messy. I am growing tired of the mess. I cant remember what the old thread said. Was it some sort of silicone spray and is it a better alternative?

I use silicon lube from a can, just stick the extension pipe in the channel and spray from the top downwards once a month. J

I use a spray called Draw Spray or something like that... Basically its for lubricating the slides on wooden draws etc and it lasts about 6 onths minimum. Just shake the can (like a paint spraypack) and stick the nozzle in the top of the rail and spray. Operate the window from top to bottom to ensure coverage, leave and in the morning it should be sweet-as-bro! I have tried silicon spray (RP7, WD40, CRC etc) and too messya nd too temporary! I wouldnt ever go near graphite spray and the only other thing I found worked well is LUBE STICK, the kind you rub on door hinges etc but hard to get into a windo rail!
