Ecconomy is going to hurt at around 18mpg but otherwise they are good if you look after it Get a mechanical inspection just to be sure.

english gallons not us gallons so multiply gallons by 4.56 and multiply miles by 1.6 then you have km/liter. the other way is liters/100km which is around 14 or 15. you will notice the differance at the pump.

Had my 92 V6 shorty for almost 5 years and have found it to be extremely reliable with no problems at all with the engine itself. Currently has about 174,000 on the clock. My fuel econ hovers around 14L/100km which may be more in the heavier long wheel base version. The 6VD1 is a SOHC engine, 130kW @ 5200rpm and 260nM @ 3750rpm.
Personally can thoroughly recommend it.
