Hi there I have a 1988 Bighorn with a c223 engine that has died. I have heard that most of this model were fitted with a 2.8 engine & would like to upgrade from the c223.Aii the family likes to drive it but agree that afew more horses would not go a miss. Can anyone pass on any imfo;I've read that need a change of g/box;is there much to replumbing the exhaust as it is on the other side of the engine? Thanks for any imfo.

Don't know much about your engine swap as I haven't seen one with your current motor in it.The exhaust shouldn't be a problem as the 2.8 one crosses over just behind the gearbox anyway.Whereabouts are you?you may be able to score a 2nd hand exhaust from someone who's gone big bore or even get that done yourself.
