Can't get anything on the old posts so though I will have to start another on this annoying problem. Anyway my passenger side window won't work (hasn't done for probably 12 months and the misses is on to me about it ,got to look after her only one I've got ha ha) so I decided to check that the motor was working and yes no problem, got another battery and wired straight to the wires coming from the motor. So Iam assuming the fault is in the switches. the problem started when I found the drives button broken so I swaped the pass one over, no worries. then I had to reach over to the passenger side to get it down, can't have that so I took the pass botton out and over to the drivers side and it has not worked since. So I thinking I may need a whole new buttton set-up for both sides. If so can I get them in NZ and the cost please. Have a mate going over shortly and can pick them up for me. As well he will be looking to buy a 4wd when gets over there so I told him to get an MU, so if anyone has a good one for sale let me no. Hope some one can help, sorrry if this was a bit long winded. Bruce

The buttons are available here new but they cost as much as the trip over. Try opening the switch up and cleaning the contacts and gently adjusting the outside contact . 98 times out of a 100 this will fix it after the third or forth attempt. Some landcruzers use an identical looking button but I dont know if its wired the same.I did look at trying to wire an after market switch but 2 pole change over switches at the req current rating are hard to find and I managed to fix mine

Hi Caffa, First up there is a MU at 4WD Off Road Wrecking at Archerfield, ph no 3277 8231. It's on Trading Post, cannot see right hand guard in photo. I've e'mailed them to see if they have window switches. Any way my ph no is 0427 790091, give us a call when you come up. Bruce
