Was that an aircon compressor or something else. If you can find a smaller compressor then mounting this where the alternator was and putting the alternator up top sounds a good way

Nothing too exciting to report but i fitted a turbo timer the other day. Its quite a cool piece of electronic trickery. Not only does it actively decide how long the engine needs to idle till the oil has cooled down but it tells you your speed, 0-100km/h, lap timer, volt meter, rev counter etc.

Of course most of these functions are of little use especially the 0-200km/h timer ;D One thing i have found useful is the speed mode which you can calibrate to suit bigger tyres and is useful for avoiding paying your road tax when "offroad"

Took about an hour to install splicing into the ignition barrel wires and then finding a speed signal wire from behind the speedo cluster.

its called a Greddy Full Auto Timer and i found one for sale secondhand but not fitted for $100.
