???Hi there!
I am just about to change my timing belt, power steering and fan belt. I have never done that before. Repco wants to charge 100 for the timing belt which I found a bit dear. Does anyone now the length and width of the belts? I am sure I can use the Holden Jackaroo belts. Right?
Cheers,Olaf

The last timing belt I brought from Repco was around $88 AUS so if Ur talking NZD then its probably resonable price. The timing belt is a little more involved than the other two and may take a few hours even if you know your way around motors. Part numbers can be found here :http://clubisuzu.proboards29.com/index.cgi?board=Engine&action=display&thread=1093303772 for the TD Isuzu motors. And as for the sizes, well but seeing as most of the equivelant model Jackaroo's use the same motors as the ISUZU's then your guess could be right. Check the engine code and match it to part at repco. J

Hi Justin, for the 3.1 the two belts (not talking timing belts) are 22400 & 17600, I use Dayco Top Cog gold label, 2400 $15, 17600 $22.50. I got some one else to do the timing belt and they had trouble finding the switch in the back of the dash to turn the light off. And ye I guarantee these belts as I use them on my boat and when I ran my 12 volt alternator with out the reg, pumping out up to 16 volts they last real well. Cheers Bruce

Yep I thought about the different belt types after I replied to this post but then I realised I have no idea what Isuzu he owns, so I stopped thinking. (otherwise that would be 3 times this year ;D)

[glow=red,4,600] ROFL [/glow] For $178 I take mine to the mechanic and go wandering around the industrial area ogling the boats while he fixes it. Thats when I get all nostalgic and think about the last 100,000 k's I have spent in the saddle and the highs (McCallmans) and the lows (breaking a drive belt 250k's from Rocky borrowing rope from a farmer to get us in to town) Going for belt number 3 in a few weeks.
