We are off to play again, I have just taken ownership of a 96 Bighorn so me and a few mates are going out on sat 12 to........ camp over night and yes there is work involved you will need to gather some drift wood for a camp fire, there will also be fishing for those inclined and there will be 4X4 action in the dunes and a trip thru the bombing range. Those interested mail me. So far we have 4 trucks going up - Weather depending of course... It weather is dodgy we will go up sat to play only.....

Yes I live on the north shore. We will be going in at Rimmers rd (about 18km past Kumeu on the way to Hellensville) past the motorcycle park and on to beach there, then the mouth of the harbour 32km up the beach.

 We live in Massey on Royal rd. And driving on that beach almost every weekend. Is it a family trip? We have 5y.o. girl . And camping is something what we realy injoy. Last year we went camping for 2 1/2 weeks arownd South Island , that was chalenging ;D.(52 river crossings on the way up and down to ghost town)

Yeh no problem at all. I am not sure how many children will be there at this stage. We need to be going up the beach at about 8.30 to beat the tide, low tide is at 5.30 am and it is a 3.6m tide.

No problem my mobile is 021 772 756 if ya come up later. The tide is high at 6.00AM and the next high is 6.00PM so we can get in and out between 8.00am and 3.00pm for the dat trippers.... My transfer box is whining something bad and it is in the shop now...

No problem. My truck is all fixed, so it is all go.
There is about about a 12 of us camping over night and about 4 or so little ones. Should be about at least 6 trucks ranging from toyota's to nissan's to isuzu's. Even an old 2.8 Bighorn........

;D Well the weather is looking good and the tides are right. So an over night trip it is. Any wanting to play should meet us on muriwai beach @ nine tomorrow morning or just romp up L8R ...
