If an ad for a nudge bar says it is for a UCS55, will this bolt directly onto a UCS69??
And... Are nudge bars for a Mu still available commercially new, or is second hand the only way to purchase?
Thanks.

Not sure about the numbers but you can still buy new nudge bars for most mu's over 1995, my source informed me that there was a few left though out nz.. but you can buy a second hand 1 for 1/2 the price and most are in really good condition.. Let me know how you get on with the number matching please.

The numbers are the models... I have a 96 Mu that is a UCS69, with 4gj2 engine, I believe the UCS55 is the older Mus, with the 4bj1 engine (2.8TD). Although not 100% sure!!
Where does your source say the nudge bars are available from???
I can get one fitted here in Chch at Blackwells Engineering, but this would be a generic one, and cost $280, plus 25% for galvanising (?Chroming).

go to your nearest holden dealer... they should be able to help u out with a new nudge bar and should cost a lot less than $280.. I spent a bit of time last month lookin around for the same bar but went for a shock up grade instead..
