Hi all, Anyone know why my auto 93 MU likes to change up a gear when I going up hill. It's all good until the MU changes up then I have top drop it back into 2nd to get the revs back up again, can't just plant my foot. any ideas is this normal Cheers, A.

Hmmm! Obviously it should kick down a gear under load and mine won't normally change up again until it hits around 2750rpm. Under hard acceleration up Beacon Hill rd it stays changed down until 2 thirds the way up then changes up and then kicks back down again for the last bit. That's keeping the pedal at a constant. Good hill to test auto trans behavious that one. I'd probably check the kick down switch which is normally around the top of the pedal too. J
