Question on Brake fliud filler?

Hey,

I know this will prolly sound like a stupid question, with an obious answer but.. what does that little warning on top of the brake fluid filler upper, mean where it says "clean filler cap before removing?"

Exactly that. Anything that gets into the brake fluid resivour gets into your brakes. ie water lowers fluid boiling point and rusts from the inside = no brakes. Mud or dirt is abrasive and can cause blockages=no brakes. It only needs a wipe with a clean rag
