That hole under the rear wheel was allegedly created by dynamite by a local that didnt want vehicles disturbing the peace at his batch. Didnt work very well. Devils gate has always been a little tricky esspec in a lwb. The top of the rise is completely blind so the first you know of anyone coming the other way is the bump.

Yep that rise is completely blind thats why you have a wife.....,she make a great spotter......she also screams if she stays in the car.....

Im gurssing thats the moores somewhere around yorkshire. Looks a lot like central otago except without the large rocks and the mountains in the distance

Looks a lot like central otago except without the large rocks and the mountains in the distance Hi geeves, it was on a green laning trip in North Wales, a lane called The Lost Lake a very bleak place, Ive been lots of times in all seasons and its always cold and wet, just behind the camera in the mist is the Snowdonia range. |

just behind the camera in the mist is the Snowdonia range.
Back in the dim dark past I went to school in London and the oldest class (11 year olds) got to do the climb of Mount Snowden as a summer camp. I left to come to NZ before I got a chance but the pictures of the place didnt exactly say summer destination. Mount Snowden is one of the highest peaks in UK at 3560 feet
