Am considering a 2 inch body lift on the rodeo. the cab is a no brainer and the bumper mounts and bullbar mount could be combined to sort that My issue is the well deck 3 mounts are also no brainers buy/make spacers and longer bolts. The only one that would catch me out is in the wheel arch in plain view. A tray "crossmember" (a folded peice of panel steel) sits on the chassis curve (no bolt) any thoughts that wont stand out. By the way was.going to use umpy rod cut to length and hi tensile bolts about $150 for whole lot

that tray xmember shouldnt be touching the chassis. It should also be sitting behind a similar shape on the chassis It purpose is to stop everything moveing forwards in a prang. If it doesnt have a setup like this leave it or if you want just weld or bolt spacers made out of suitable square section and helens your uncle

Got all my bolts and spacers sourced but after some ideas on a fuel tank lift is it easier than it looks (dont look easy) and am considering throwing away (or selling) the original bumper and seperate bull bar and making a one peice bumper any thoughts one what thickness steel to use? Even better if someone has a pattern hidden away. Thanks to all in advance

Ive never actually come across anyone wanting to raise a standard Rodeo tank - they are pretty well tucked up. I have heard of a few people raising long-range tanks as they do hang below the chassis rails There wer some pictures of mods to raise a tank in this thread - by Krusin, www.4wdmonthly.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=28106but they seem to have been deleted - if you are a member, or join the forum, & PM Krusin ha might be able to put you in contact with them

The plate below the tank sits about an inch under the chasis and am just trying to get a bit more clearance even with extended shackles the plate is only about an 1/2 inch above axle tubes. Mainly bugs me that I can see it hanging out the bottom Nig you wouldnt want to post a bigger picture of your bullbar would you as I posted earlier Im looking at making one.

Here you go: I dont know who made it - was on the truck whe I got it. Since these pics were taken I have added a piece of heavy gague stretched metal mesh over the gap at the bottom to protect the lower part of the radiator
