Hi all. What do you think? I'm wondering if it could fit up there. I'm looking at modding (over a few years) for touring Oz and I'm just looking at a few things for now.
Cheers.

I think the Jackeroo and Mu chassis rails are slightly differant in spacing so fitting might work but wont be straight unbolt and bolt but you never know till you try. Better option might be a Rodeao tank if one exists. Other than that jerry cans

Another idea I've heard of is installing a second hand tank from a wrecker and using it as auxillary- with fuel pumped to main.

Thats a good idea If you can find them Mk 1 escort tanks would fit inside the rear gaurds and are aprox 6 gallons. Some Jags have a similar setup but tanks would be bigger.

I would be jumping under a Jack with a tape measure...being the Jacks towbar fits perfectly onto the chassis rails, I would guess they are the same dimentions. I have also parked my MU along side my Dads Jack and the rear end setup looks identical!!
If you can find an after market tank cheap, I think you have a shot at fitting it up!
Goodluck!
Matt.
