over drive light flashing

Hi

Ive just brough my Mu and after about 1 or 2 km the over drive light starts flashing and I cant seem to work out why, it goes into overdrive while driving, there is plenty of fluid and the speedo is working so it cant be cause theres no speed signal

any other ideas???

Was this doing this before the engine swap?
My guesses are overheating trans possibly due to problem with the autos cooling system or a sensor not plugged in properly

yup was doin it befor the engine swap.... it has been driving around fine but i did notice that when i unpluged the trans cooler when i put the new motor in there was very little fluid in the trans cooler

Yep, had this same problem on my Bighorn. Just last month I did up the motor. I put in my spare torque convertor, and the problem dissappeared. I suspect it was something to do with low oil pressure. There is also a post with a auto trans service manual site. Search for "AW30-80LE".
