Before adjusting the steering box get underneath the vehicl and get someone to move the wheel back and forwards while you look at the linkages for play Dont forget ther little ujoint in the steering colum. Once this is sorted loosen the locknut on the steering box and adjust the screw a little at a time till play is acceptable. Then tighten locknut and lift the front end off the ground and turn the wheel lock to lock with engine off to make sure there are no tight spots. Readjust as required. If you cant get acceptable play and no tight spots its time for a new box. Send me a pm with your addresss and Ill post the manual on cd.Ill have to check the online copy at some stage when I have time to see whats wrong

Mmm, I have this in My Deo too.... I remember seeing an article on (I think it was) 4x4wire a while back... but I can't find the darn thing now! I'm pretty sure it was about removing and/or maintaining/repairing the Isuzu Steering box in these babies. If anyone knows where I can find it, or has a copy saved (like I shoud have done ) please, I would love to see it..... Oh, and when I crawled under there yesterday, the whole outter side of it seems to be covered in (power steering ) fluid - so I'm super keen to get this!!!!! ;D ~Crazy~

There is an artical on the main clubisuzu page about changing the top seal which is not the aurthorised method of fixxing but does work 98% of the time. This should fix the fluid leak
