When I take out the dip stick to check the eingine oil level, I can see White smoke coming out of the Dip-stick tube, is that normal(engine blow by)? I have not fit oil catch can, will that fix it please? many tanks

Some is ok but the question is how much?? Some isuzus do fume a lot with nothing much wrong with them but it can also mean 2 other possibilities. 1 bad rings will cause lots of fumes A compresion test is the best proof on this 2 leaky head gasket/cracked head. Normaly accompianied by milky oil or oil in the radiator. A catch can will not reduce blow by but will reduce the amount of oil that blowby causes to be sucked into the engine. Old oil often increases the amount of blowby esspoecialy if you skimped on the cost of oil. Do remember to change every 5000km

When I was useing Repco brand oil mine would start fumeing more than was good after 3k Changed to Delo400 problem gone changed to valvolene problem still gone Now at 200000km
