diesel leaking

Hi all i have another little quistion........

My diesel mu is leaking diesel, not much but its noticable on the panel below the filler cap.

when i undo the filler cap i get a loud wooshing noise, a friend said it might be a fual tank breather pipe being blocked???If this sounds right where would it be located and where would be block likley to be???

any help would be great

I belive the breather is built into the cap Pickapart could be worth a try for a similar cap

Thanks again geeves, that might be my problem as when i bought the MU a few months ago there was no fuel cap, we got one from a friend with an unleaded dead MU , do you know if there is anyway to clean my filler cap or fix mine

theres a small hose running from the filler to the tank, most likely its blocked
