G'day,

I don't know the ins and out's of the rodeo, except i have 2 Gemini's with G180...

I've now helped a mate buy a 81 Rodeo 4WD trayback with a 2.0 Diesel but sadly it doesn't have a 5 speed...

Can you blokes help me with :

Is this model a KB?
Is the model from 1981 - 1988?
Is there a 5 speed that will fit it?
Is there a number given to the 5 speed for identifying purposes?

hi i think you will find its a kb with a c190 motor (have a look left rear of the engine block) these only came out with the 4 speed box. the cross member would have to be move for a 5 speed as far as i know.
we have put the ute cabs on to the 80s bighorn runing gear as the cab bolts are the same

2 liter diesel isnt going to do much more with a 5 speed. 5th gear is an overdrive so it will be into 4th at the sight of a hill in the distance. Very reliable engine but it wont make for the worlds fastest truck but thats what the geminis are for
