Hey guys just wondering if anyone would be interested in upgrading there 3.1 or 2.8 turbo. I have just got a new shipment of turbo's IHI Vicc and loose parts to build a few up. The Hybrid one is based on a VI95 and runs the later 7800 series turbine wheel, we machine the cover out to take a Toyota 1kz compressor wheel which runs a 43mm inducer 58mm exducer. If you have removed the aircon pump we can make up a aluminium belmouth which brings the intake hose up to 2.5" the belmouth is profiled to speed the air up into the compressor which gives good torque gains. I ran this combination on my own vechile i ran 11-12 pound made 105kw, with 300nm torque. Fullboost on my setup was 1900-2000rpm. We also open up the wastegate port in the exhaust housing to help relieve it as the extra power gains create alot more flow causing the boost pressure to rise. If anyone is interested contact me

The 2.8 upgrade i can do for around the $1300 that will be with the opened up wastegate port and bigger compressor wheel. Have you removed your aircon pump at all?

Hey powertruck, do you know of anyone has made up a better flowing exhaust manifold?

I have made a stainless one up for my own truck with a Garrett T25 flange It was made out of schedule 10 stainless which has a wall thickness of 2.6mm I ran it on my car for a while and sold it off as a package at the time. The one i made was a log type manifold not tubular. I've found Diesels lose there torque down low if you make headers up fine one a petrol engine where most of there power is higher in the rpm range. The manifold i made for my own i didnt really notice alot of difference between a factory one. You can improve the flow at the collector by diverting the flow into the turbine housing much better than the stock one which will help spool up the turbine better. Sorry back to your question i dont know of anyone making these manifolds up over here I just did it myself as i have all the gear at work to do this. If i got some interest in them i could make a jig and make a few up if people are interested i just havent had alot of call for them
