Ive got a Jackaroo 95 3.1 lt intercooled turbo diesel. Are all the original motors in these 4JG2 cause my identification plate says RJC. Also the part # on the turbo is VIAN 95.. Is the same as a VI95 and if its whining when it stops is it close to a sudden death.

Does it have RHF5 written beside that number?
If its winding down after shutdown its usually a symptom that the heatshield has cliped the back of the turbine wheel causing it to get out of balance they can run like this for years before stopping its a luck of the draw.
Just keep and eye out if it starts geting worse you may want to take further action

Yep, RHF 5.Its been whining for 3years. Do you know the right turbo to replace it with if does pack it in? Ive been recommended VI95.. Cheers for any help.
