Thanks for the reply elysian.......I would like to use Photobucket as I have done in the past to put it on, but it does not want to work, so it seems it now has to be hosted by our own web site or similar is this right?

What I did was just resize the image down to a (much) smaller size and used that .... but now that I've had a sleep, I'll test some other stuff out .... edit : OK.. you can still use that image above in the avatar url field.. BUT YOU MUST specify the width and height !!! IE: like this ..  will get you this..  |

If you want to use a different image from photobucket, then you can.. but remember to specify the width and height below 100 x 100 pixels .. the image that you posted and I've been playing around with is 1024 x 768 pixels in size , so the ratio is 4:3 .. so to make the avatar image look right .. 100 x 75 pixels ... PS: using pictures/screenshots is easier than a page and a half of text , but my wife says I'm spoiling you guys by using pictures..  |

I got it down to the same size as you have but it will not load....I do just go down and click on modify profile don't I?
Never use to have this problem but have not been able to load one for a couple of months now...thanks for you help.
