Two of us went to Calabogie, Ontario (in Canada) for a weekend run of the trails in the area... easy to get lost in there.
white rodeo 3" body + 3" susp. + 33" mudders, limited slip rear
black rodeo 5" susp. +33" mudders + aussie locker in rear
basically there are logging/cottage roads, snowmobile, ATV trails and Hydro lines. the hydrolines are the most technical, the snowmobile trails are full of water holes and rough patches. you could drive for days
great area.
anyway. on to the pics
day 1/3 - playing at the trail head
hydro line trail, one section;. this hill was stupid steep. going back up was fun - no wheel spin with my new aussie rear locker
both of us got hung up here
camped on the hydro line -
testing out the new Kangaroo Chasers.... 6 lights are sooo bright
Day 2/3
next morning staying on the trial -- very technical trail, lots of off camber stuff, ledges..
not as much mud there as i would have liked!
nice lake spot
i was hauling a christmas tree
back on the hydrocut
this hydro line was hardly used - the trail was not very clear
crawlin' down a steep hill. had to winch back up it. Not the Aussie though that puppy crawled up the hill
Campsite - flagged a nice one early on
trucks are natural swimmers
went on another mission. ended up on a totally wrong trail - but it was a good one. the Quinn Trail, is a BF Goodrich "outstanding trail"
and then the stuck of the year occurs
tire kept digging and digging. once finally out the hole was like 3 feet deep
back at the site
Day 3/3
this partridge was attacking our tires
little hole on a hill
45 degree incline
bumper angle
approach angle
on the way out
good times!!!
