theres wasnt alot of room in mine, being a mu and becasue i couldnt rotate my turbo, i was planning on using the rubber boot that my setup came with but after seeing how much room i had, i made the chrome cowling close to the bonnet then used a large kind of weather strip type tape to seal it and stop any ratteling.

thanks for the pic its very similar to mine. Im thinking of building a aluminium box around it to ram the air into the core better. At the moment i only have the hole in the bonnet with a deflector. Might have a play around and see if i can get it working better.

if i had a body lift and my engine sat lower i would use the bighorn rubber boot, my mate has a mitsy L200 that he put a pajero intercooler on, the intercooler came with a factory fan on the bottom and i was really impressed with the air it pulled through it.
