Hey guys i just a got pair of Lightforce 240 Blitz and went just to wire them up. when i got my mu it didnt have spotlights on it but it still had the standard wiring harness. i put a test light on it and thier is power thier but when i connect the lights to it, it doesnt work. and yes my high beams were on with the button on in the cab. does any1 have any idea what could be wrong? i also tested the lights by putting the wired directly to the battery and they are working fine.

my mu standard spots will work with the park lights on (and normal/high beams), is the button on the dash lighing up when you push it? mine wasnt connected and frustrated me for about 15mins untill i poped it out of the dash and found some one had used selotape to wire up some dodgey light fitting thing to the switch, i pluged the loom back the switch and they work fine now

i feel like such an idiot. i had a bit of time this morning so i went and had a look and i have blown the fuse. i replaced it and it worked straight away. I didnt have my test light on me yesterday but i had tested the wires with the test light a few days back and thats y i didnt pick up on it. but still it should have been the 1st thing i checked

When I got my 240s I used the old spot light/fog light loom and it worked fine as long as you didn't have them on lonfer than 5 seconds. Yes the fuse would go, so instead upgrading the fuse I thought I would get a proper lightforce wiring loom to get max lumen/candle power from them. The old spotlight/fog light loom is now re-routed to 2 LED lights at each side of my rear wing to provide camp lighting that can be left on ALL NIGHT as they only draw 0.2 amps each. I use the dash switch as well as 2 seperate switches in the rear cabin (double switched). I also made a dash switch to power an external 12volt socket as I didn't want power going to it all the time especially when doing deep creek crossings etc.
Just a could of ideas for you all.
